Yvonne Bentley has significant experience in management and support roles, currently serving as Deputy Manager and Support Worker at Walsingham Support since April 2015. Previously, Yvonne worked as a Sales Underwriter at Allianz Insurance from October 2012 to August 2014, and as a Sales Manager at Sleepmasters from October 2006 to September 2012. Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama & Creative Writing from St. Martin's College, Lancaster, completed in 2005, and A levels in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from Woolston Sixth Form College. Additionally, Yvonne completed secondary education at Woolston High School in Warrington.

As a national charity, Walsingham Support has been challenging and changing the support provided to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries and complex needs for over 35 years. We do this by understanding people’s unique needs, abilities and aspirations. Through this we create and deliver the person-centred, bespoke support needed for each individual to develop skills, achieve independence and enjoy life to the full. Flexibility is key to achieving this, but while our work and the support we provide constantly evolves to meet the demands of a changing social care landscape, our central goal has remained the same: deliver the quality of life people with disabilities deserve.
