Edwin Hans has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in tech startups to consultancy firms and think tanks. In 2019, they worked as a Data Product Manager and Data Analyst at Walter Living, where they focused on product research, ideation, and the rollout of data-driven online features. Notably, they created a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) tool for home valuations in the Dutch real estate market.
From 2012 to 2019, Edwin worked at SITE urban development as an Urban Planner and GIS Data Analyst. In this role, they were involved in data (GIS) urban research, spatial and programmatic concept development, real estate feasibility studies, and urban design.
In 2013, Edwin was a Think Tank member YURPS at Platform31. Edwin also served as a Contributing Editor for Atlantis Magazine at Delft University of Technology from 2010 to 2012.
Lastly, in 2011, Edwin worked as an Urban Designer at ZUS [Zones Urbaines Sensibles] for a brief period from May to August.
Edwin Hans has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Edwin then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Design from Delft University of Technology, from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Edwin participated in the Erasmus Programme at Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki in 2007-2008, where they studied and lived abroad. Edwin also attended a Summer School at Beijing University of Technology in 2010 and a Spring School at Copenhagen School of Design and Technology in the same year.
