James Absalom

James Absalom has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James started their career as a Practice Lead for Executive Search at MC Partners in 2012, specializing in sourcing talent in the executive search sector. James then embarked on charity and sporting projects in South America before joining Baldwin Boyes as Chairman and Investor from September 2020 to October 2021.

In 2015, James founded Walter James, a group consisting of Walter James, WJS, and Euromedica. The group focuses on executive search, executive interim management, and hiring solutions in sectors such as FMCG, retail, life sciences, and supply chain. Walter James was subsequently acquired by ZRG Partners in December 2021, and James became the Group CEO, responsible for leading and developing the global strategic growth of the group.

Alongside their role at Walter James, James also served as the CEO of Euromedica Executive Search Limited, which was acquired by Walter James in November 2016. Euromedica is a leading life sciences executive search firm with a long-standing track record of success.

James has also taken on various investor roles in companies such as Bier Company, Secret Cinema, and Candidate.ID®. Additionally, they serve as a Transform Coalition Member for Future Insights Network, offering strategic advice to the management and influencing decisions regarding supply chain innovation.

Currently, James holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer - International at ZRG Partners, overseeing the growth of the company's international footprint and playing an active role in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. James is responsible for maximizing growth across all business lines and showcasing ZRG's collaborative and holistic approach as an end-to-end Talent Advisory firm.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated a strong focus on leadership, strategic growth, and client development in various industries and sectors.

James Absalom attended Nottingham Trent University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with Honors. Their field of study was Image & Display Technology.
