Mark Larsen

Managing Principal, Structures at Walter P Moore

Having worked in the AEC industry since 1993, Mark is a results-oriented structural engineer with a wide range of design and project management experience. He’s led some of the firm’s most challenging projects, including the first computer chip manufacturing facility built in Brazil and the new Major League ballpark for the Atlanta Braves. He blends technical chops, organizational savvy, and great communication skills to push through obstacles and consistently satisfy clients. Mark has a passion to improve building design and professional practice and is an active participant in the Applied Technology Council, Structural Engineers Association of Georgia, American Institute of Steel Construction, and the National Council of Structural Engineers Association’s Seismic Committee. He earned his Master and Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Arizona. Mark is a licensed professional engineer in Arizona and California.
