Matt Nebel

As part of the Structures group and Managing Director of Secure Design, Matt specializes in secure design for institutions such as airports, sports stadia, hospitals, and corporate and educational campuses. He has worked with a wide range of private and federal agencies including GSA, DoD, DoS, and the VA. His experience includes the development of blast mitigation solutions to include site surveys, assessment reports, development of construction contract documents, and construction administration.

Matt has expertise with the ISC security requirements and the UFC 4-010-01 anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) requirements. He has presented on ATFP and blast requirements at a Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) webinar entitled Designing Glazing Systems Under the Updated UFC 4-010-01 ATFP Requirements and the Precast Construction Institute Conference.

Matt earned his Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
