Tricia Fitzgerald is senior project manager for diagnostics at Walter P Moore. Tricia has also worked as a senior engineer at BROMLEY COOK ENGINEERING, INC. from April 2021 to March 2022, and as a senior associate at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. from November 2014 to August 2020.
Fitzgerald began their career as an associate at Thornton Tomasetti in January 2012, where they investigated collapsed structures and cranes for cause and origin determination, as well as building envelope failures including water intrusion, stucco failures, concrete cracks and spalls, railings, glazing and waterproofing. Tricia also managed high-rise condominium building envelope restoration projects including investigation, condition assessment reporting, education of board members, design of repair details, preparation of construction documents and bid forms, facilitated bids among contractors and developed construction inspection protocol and reporting tools.
In their litigation support role, Fitzgerald investigated building envelope failures, concrete failures, balcony railing anchorage and post-tension encapsulation. Tricia also analyzed existing structures to determine capacity to carry additional loads, and designed and detailed repairs to existing steel structures for corrosion repair.
Tricia Fitzgerald has a BAE in Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is certified by the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer.
