Samantha Fischer

Samantha Fischer is a Water Resources Engineering EIT at WalterFedy, with prior experience as a Drainage Engineer II at Mott MacDonald, where involvement included field observations for the Denver Water Lead Reduction Program and assisting in the Kings Pointe Interceptor upgrade. As a Civil/WASH Intern at Engineering Ministries International, Samantha developed a design tool for water treatment plants in rural Cambodia. Academic contributions include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University, where collaboration with faculty occurred on engineering projects, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, providing instruction to first-year engineering students. Additional experience encompasses roles in mentoring and event planning with The Navigators, technical support for the WASH team at Samaritan's Purse, and internships with Atkins and Kiewit focusing on storm water management and project controls. Samantha holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
