Marie Duquesne CMgr FCMI has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Marie recently worked at Waltham Forest College as the Head of Creative Arts, Business, IT & Digital Industries before moving into the role of Head of Creative Arts, IT & Digital Industries. Prior to that, they spent several years at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, where they held various positions including Head of Curriculum - Business, Professional and Science, Head of Curriculum - Business & Professional, Curriculum Manager - Computing & ICT, and Programme Manager IT. Before joining Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, Marie worked as a Program Manager Business & IT and an ICT Lecturer at the same institution.

In 2018 and 2019, Marie attended The Open University and obtained a CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, Marie studied at West London College and achieved a Pearson Edexcel Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
Marie's education also includes a Level 6 Diploma in Observation of Teaching & Learning from the University of Westminster in 2013 and 2014, a NCFE Certificate in Equality & Diversity from West London College between 2012 and 2014, and a QTLS status from the Institute for Learning in 2010 and 2011.
Furthermore, Marie holds certifications such as a Level 5 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring from the ILM, obtained in May 2021, and a Chartered Manager designation from the Chartered Management Institute, achieved in March 2021. Marie also completed the "Modeling Courageous Leadership: Intelligent Disobedience" program offered by LinkedIn in July 2019. Additionally, Marie attained the Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills Status (QTLS) from the Institute for Learning in November 2018 and became a Google Certified Educator Level 1 in January 2018. Marie completed their secondary education at Lycee Michelet in France, earning a Baccalaureat in Art/Art Studies, General from 1989 to 1991.
