Director of Patron Services at Walton Arts Center

Kaitlin Higgins is the Director of Patron Services at Walton Arts Center. Kaitlin previously worked as the Volunteer Manager & Concert Production Coordinator at Old Town School of Folk Music from February 2012 to December 2019. In their role as Volunteer Manager, Kaitlin was responsible for recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers for hundreds of events annually across 3 locations. Kaitlin also coordinated and facilitated new volunteer orientation sessions to ensure volunteers were familiar with guidelines, scheduling processes, expectations, discipline procedures, and familiarity with individual venues. In their role as Concert Production Coordinator, Kaitlin was responsible for advancing shows, creating and maintaining budgets, obtaining permits, fulfilling green room riders, updating concert databases, creating check requests, releasing ticketing holds, and completing ASCAP/BMI reports.

Kaitlin Higgins has a BA in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management/Performing Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago. Kaitlin also studied abroad in International Music Markets, Business at the University of Westminster.

Kaitlin Higgins reports to Peter B. Lane, President & CEO. They work with Bob Pless - General Manager, Walton Arts Center, Tim Vogt - CFO & VP, Finance, and Heather Holland - Creative Director. Ranny Kulink - Patron Services Manager, Nathan Bell - Manager of Volunteer Programs report to Kaitlin Higgins.
