Deb Garner

Deb Garner has over 40 years of experience in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Specialist at Walton County School District since July 2018 and as an HR Coordinator for Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2003. Key responsibilities have included overseeing the Title IIA Grant, monitoring the professionally qualified progress of educators, strategic planning, and the recruitment and certification of educators. Garner also has extensive experience in data management and public speaking. Previous experience includes 32 years as an Executive Assistant at DeKalb County School System, focusing on various HR functions such as leave, contracts, salaries, teacher certification, and data analysis. Garner earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Shorter University.
