Renelle Thermidor

Renelle Thermidor, Ed.D., specializes in Special Education with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Walton County School District since July 2021, Renelle previously worked as a Special Education Teacher at Barrow County Schools, focusing on core subjects for students with Emotional Behavior Disorders and Autism from July 2014 to July 2021. Additional experience includes working as an After School Academic Enrichment Teacher for the Boys & Girls Club, a Lead Teacher/Department Chair at Gwinnett County Public Schools, and various roles serving students with severe Autism. Renelle's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Special Education and Teaching, an Education Specialist degree, and a Master’s degree in Special Education, complemented by a Bachelor's in Psychology and two Associate degrees. Renelle also has a military background as an Administrative Specialist in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.
