Margarida Blattmann has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Margarida started their career in 1992 as an Assistant Accountant at Deloitte Portugal. Margarida then worked as a Product Manager at Nestle from 1992 to 1996.
Moving on, Blattmann joined Kimberly-Clark where they held various positions. As the Senior Group Product Manager, they were responsible for managing the Scottex and Kleenex Brands and restructured the Marketing department after a merger with Scotter Paper. Margarida also served as the National Key Account Manager, managing top national clients and coordinating trade marketing plans and campaigns.
Blattmann later transitioned to the media industry, working as the Marketing Manager at PREMIUM TV and PT Multimedia. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing brand strategies for Telecine and Lusomundo Pay TV Channels, managing promotional and advertising contents, and overseeing website development and online stores.
In 2004, Blattmann joined Gecontur, Lda. (Best Travel) as the Marketing Manager, where they focused on brand management, advertising, and trade marketing campaigns. Margarida then became the General Manager and partner, responsible for the overall management and expansion of the franchise business. In their subsequent role as the CEO of the Master Franchise Project at Gecontur, SA. (Best Travel), Blattmann managed a network of 70 franchise travel agencies and 5 own stores.
From 2012 to 2015, Blattmann worked as the Marketing Director at Fox International Channels, overseeing cable TV channels marketing and communication strategies.
In 2015, Blattmann joined Wamos Travel Group as the Marketing and Communication Director, responsible for the marketing and communication strategy for all the group's brands and companies. Margarida also took on the role of Director of Contracting at Springwater Tourism_ Wamos Travel Group, where they handled contracting and negotiation with tour operators and other travel suppliers, product definition, and promotional planning. Margarida continued to serve as the Marketing and Communication Director until 2018.
Throughout their career, Blattmann has demonstrated expertise in marketing and communication strategy, brand management, advertising and promotional planning, website development, and digital marketing on platforms like social media and mobile apps. Margarida has also gained experience in contracting, negotiation, and product definition for travel distribution channels.
From 1986 to 1991, Margarida Blattmann attended ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they studied Business Administration and Management, with a major in General Business.
