Kaylyn Fern has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2015, they worked as a Sales Associate and Team Lead at Massage Envy, where they managed reception duties, maintained sales goals, and provided exceptional customer service. From 2017 to 2021, they joined the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence, working as a Marketing and Events Coordinator and later as a Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) Advocate. In these roles, they organized events and provided support to victims of domestic abuse. In 2018, they also interned at the Colorado District Attorneys' Council, analyzing and coding intimate partner homicides in the Denver Metro Area. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Development Officer at The Women's Foundation of Colorado, focusing on fundraising and development activities. In 2022, they became the Community Impact Manager at Wana Brands, where they played a crucial role in community initiatives. Currently, they are the Director of Philanthropy at The Blue Bench, overseeing philanthropic efforts for the organization.
Kaylyn Fern attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology. Kaylyn later pursued a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Colorado, and they also completed the Impact Denver program offered by the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation.
