Sandy Li, CPA, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 2022, Sandy became the Chief Financial Officer at Wana Brands. Prior to that, in 2021, Sandy served as an Advisory Board Member for Greenfield Group Inc. In 2018, Sandy founded SKN Advisors.
From 2020 to 2021, Sandy worked as the Vice President of FP&A and Treasury at Parallel. In 2017, at Loop Capital Markets, Sandy held the position of Senior Vice President and was the Head of Investment Bank Asia Markets, where they led cross border M&As, IPOs, capital raising, and provided financial advisory services to clients.
Between 2016 and 2017, Sandy acted as the Interim CFO for Weir Minerals. From 2011 to 2015, Sandy served as the Vice President of Finance at National Material L.P., one of the largest private companies in North America. Prior to that, Sandy held various positions at USG, including Senior Manager of Business Development and Financial Analysis for USG International, and Manager of Accounting for the Canadian Division.
Sandy's work experience began in 1995 when they co-founded Chengdu Pecan Information Technology and served as the President until 2000. Overall, Sandy Li has demonstrated a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership throughout their career.
Sandy Li, CPA, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. SANDY also holds a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation from CPA Canada. Additionally, Sandy has a Master's degree in International Finance from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. SANDY has completed the Women's Director Development Program, Board of Directors at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Furthermore, Sandy has obtained additional certifications including a CPA, CGA designation from CPA Canada and Series 79 license and Series 63 license from FINRA.
