Matthew Edwards

Matthew Edwards has accumulated diverse experience in the field of journalism and communication, currently serving as a Photo Journalist and Camera Operator at WAND-TV since January 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew interned at Great Plains Media in Bloomington, IL, from January to May 2017, and worked as a Phone Banker for the Illinois House Republican Organization during the 2016 election season. Additional experience includes a brief position as a Recycler for Macon County Environmental Management in August 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Illinois State University, completed in 2017, and an Associate’s Degree from Richland Community College, earned in 2014. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Lutheran School Association, attained in 2011.
