John Andrew Entwistle is the founder and CEO of Wander, a travel startup. John was previously a Thiel Fellow and co-founder of Coder.

Entwistle grew up in the Bay Area and was always interested in technology. John started coding at a young age and taught himself how to build websites. In high school, they started a web design business with a friend.

After graduation, Entwistle worked as a developer for a few years before co-founding Coder. Coder was a development platform that moved the development workstation to the cloud, bringing security and productivity to software development teams. The company was acquired by Forbes in 2019.

Entwistle left Forbes in December 2019 to start Wander. Wander is a travel startup that allows users to book unique travel experiences around the world. The company has raised $2 million in seed funding from investors including Peter Thiel and Paul Graham.
