Peter Landers

Peter Landers is the Asia business, finance and economics editor at The Wall Street Journal, where they lead coverage of these topics from the Asia hub. They served as the Tokyo bureau chief after beginning their career at the WSJ as a Tokyo correspondent, covering the economy, technology, and general news. Additionally, Landers held positions as a page one staff editor and deputy national editor. They also worked as the assistant bureau chief at the Washington bureau, focusing on energy and legal coverage. Currently, Landers is pursuing a BA in Classics and East Asian Studies at Yale University.
