Cailao

James Cailao is the Assistant General Counsel at MasTec, Inc., and is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and North Dakota. They have previously held roles as Corporate Legal Counsel at Wanzek Construction, Inc. and Attorney at Vogel Law Firm, focusing on civil, commercial, and construction litigation. Cailao gained early legal experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the 8th Judicial District and as a Law Clerk with the Ramsey County Attorney's Office. They earned a Juris Doctorate cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2010 and a BA in Legal Studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2007. In addition to their professional achievements, Cailao was a Student Senate President during their undergraduate studies and serves as a Leadership Coordinator at Comstock Memorial Union.
