Sreedevi B G has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Sreedevi is currently working as a Project Director at WAPCOS Limited official since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a TOP LEVEL EXPERT at WAPCOS from June 2021. Sreedevi also worked as a Senior Project Advisor at KIIFB from November 2020 to June 2021. From November 2010 to May 2020, they held the position of Director and Chief Scientist at NATPAC. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Highway Engg DN &LAB at the National Transportation Planning and Research Centre from May 1995 to November 2010. Earlier in their career, they were a Scientific Officer at the State committee on Science, Tech and Envt from May 1986 to May 1995, and a Design Engineer at KEL LTd from June 1985 to June 1986.

Sreedevi B G has a comprehensive education history in the field of engineering. Sreedevi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the College of Engg, Tvpm, where they studied from 1977 to 1982. Sreedevi then pursued a Master of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completing their studies from 1982 to 1984. Sreedevi further enhanced their knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Urban and Highway Engineering from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation - University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they continued their academic journey and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pavement Engineering from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, where they were enrolled from 2009 to 2014.
