Joe Marassa has extensive experience in the finance industry, particularly in marketing and product development. Joe currently holds the position of Head of Marketing and Product at Warakirri Asset Management since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Franklin Templeton Investments for eight years from April 2012 to February 2020, serving as the Head of Marketing. Before that, Joe held various roles at ING Investment Management, including Head of Distribution Services from February 2011 to September 2011, Director of Marketing and Channel Management from January 2006 to January 2011, and Head of Institutional Marketing from July 2003 to December 2005. Joe also had experience as the Head of Institutional Marketing at Colonial First State from 2002 to 2003 and as a Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at Commonwealth Investment Management from 2000 to 2002. Joe started their career at Commonwealth Bank of Australia as the Head of Investor Strategies from 1997 to 1999.
Joe Marassa completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Economics & Finance at UNSW from 1987 to 1989. Joe later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Marketing at Monash University from 1998 to 2000. In 2017, Joe obtained the certification of Fellow - Certified Practicing Marketer from the Australian Marketing Institute.
