Pádraig Butler

Pádraig Butler has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Java Platform Architect at Waratek since April 2010. Prior to that, they worked at Agilent Technologies for eight years, where they were an Expert Research and Development Engineer focused on Automated Optical Inspection systems for the Surface Mount Technology industry. Pádraig was involved in the entire product development process, from research to commercialization.

Before Agilent Technologies, Pádraig worked at NUI Maynooth as an R&D Engineer and Lecturer. Pádraig developed tools to analyze data acquired by a face scanning system and assisted a collaborating surgeon in evaluating 3D data. Pádraig also lectured computer science to first-year students in the Department of Computer Science and the information technology strand of the Higher Diploma in Information and Communications Technology in Education.

Pádraig Butler attended Trinity College Dublin from 1990 to 1995, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Computer Vision at Maynooth University from 1995 to 1998.
