Eric Friedman

Eric Friedman is based in New York and joined Warburg Pincus in 2009. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services Sector. Mr. Friedman is a Director of Mariner Finance and Newfi Lending and has been involved in the firm’s investments in Sterling Financial, Santander Consumer USA, Triton Container, Solar Mosaic and Ascentium Capital. Previously, he worked at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income Currency and Commodities Advisory Group where he specialized in principal transactions in the Consumer Finance sector. Mr. Friedman holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as an M.S. and B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
