Yilong Du

Yilong Du is based in Hong Kong, joined Warburg Pincus in 2019 and is a Managing Director and Co-General Counsel for China and Southeast Asia. He has served as a Managing Partner of the Beijing office of Latham & Watkins since 2015 and prior to that time, he served as Executive Director in the Hong Kong office of Goldman Sachs, leading the legal efforts for most of the bank’s Investment Banking transactions in China. Yilong also spent several years as a Corporate Attorney for the law firms Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Covington & Burling and Sidley Austin. He holds a B.S. (Honors) from Beijing Universality School of Math, an LLM (Honors) from Beijing University Law School and a JD from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
