Ankit Gupta

Ankit Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ankit started their career as a Trainee at The Smart Cube in 2013 and then worked as a Trainee at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and S G INFORMATICS in 2014. Ankit then joined Infosys as a System Engineer in 2016 and later transitioned to Infosys Consulting as a DevOps Consultant in 2017. In 2018, Ankit joined Spark New Zealand as a Chapter Lead and Product Owner DevOps Tooling, where they were responsible for designing and implementing DevOps processes. Ankit also worked on automating infrastructure and was involved in Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift projects. In 2021, they joined Vodafone New Zealand as an Engineering Manager before eventually taking on the role of Tribe Lead, IT-Platforms, Productivity, Development and Operations at The Warehouse Group in 2022. Throughout their career, Ankit has focused on improving software correctness, coaching development teams on secure coding, and pushing for developer-driven testing.

Ankit Gupta completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from SRM University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Vivekanand Public School from 2009 to 2011, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Ankit also obtained several certifications, including the AZ-400 Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions from Microsoft in September 2020, Professional Skills for International Business from Coursera in 2020, and the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification from Microsoft in January 2021.
