Kyla Ostler

Kyla Ostler has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Kyla started their career as an Internal Sales Representative at Steel Tube Services CC in 2005 and then moved on to work as a Junior Bookkeeper at Wechsler SA Cut Glass Group in 2007. Kyla then worked as an Assistant to a Financial Manager at Commercial Truck and Trailer from 2008 to 2009.

In 2009, they joined City Pack - Astrapak Manufacturing Holdings (Pty) Ltd as an Assistant Financial Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing various financial functions such as debtors, creditors, cashbook, and payroll processing. Kyla also managed inventory, maintained the General Ledger, and prepared financial reports.

From 2011 to 2014, Kyla worked as a Systems Analyst at East Rand Plastics - Astrapak Manufacturing Holdings (Pty) Ltd. Kyla'sresponsibilities included creating and maintaining Bills of Materials, managing the implementation and upgrade of ERP systems, and performing production analysis.

In 2014, they joined Cell C as a Supply Chain & MVNO Financial Accountant, where they managed financial accounts related to supply chain and MVNO services.

Kyla then joined Edcon in 2017, where they first worked as an Executive Budget & Planning Manager, responsible for IT strategy and business support. Kyla then worked as a Commercial Executive, overseeing supplier management and go-to-market activities.

Currently, they are working at The Warehouse Group as a Senior Finance BP in Business Advisory Information Technology. In this role, they provide commercial advice, supports and influences senior business leaders, and collaborates with the wider IT team to identify gaps and develop solutions.

Kyla Ostler completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management and Financial Accounting at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2007 to 2016. In December 2018, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
