Matthew Piper

Matthew Piper has extensive experience in employment relations, currently serving as General Manager of Employment Relations and Business Partnering at The Warehouse Group since 2020. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Head of Employment Relations at Simpson Grierson from April 2017 to September 2020, after working as a Senior Solicitor at Buddle Findlay from May 2015 to April 2017. Additional experience includes a role as Government Relations Advisor at Bank of New Zealand and solicitor positions at Kiely Thompson Caisley. Matthew began their legal career as a Summer Clerk at Russell McVeagh. Matthew holds both an LLB in Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Auckland.
