Richard Carter

Richard Carter, CM-BIM, serves as the Director of Virtual Design & Construction at Warfel Construction Company since September 2013, having previously held the position of VDC Coordinator. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Project Manager, Designer, Revit Administrator, and IT Manager at Cornerstone Design-Architects from November 2007 to September 2013. Richard also founded Carter IT Consulting in June 2006, focusing on technology resources for contractors, engineers, developers, and interior designers, while concurrently working as a Project Manager, Designer, and Technology Coordinator at DePaul Planning & Design from April 2003 to November 2007. Richard's extensive experience began at Reese, Lower, Patrick & Scott Architects, serving as Director of IT from 1988 to 2003, where Richard played a key role in the evolution of technology integration. Richard holds an Associate's degree in Architectural Technology from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, earned from 1986 to 1988.
