Thomas Bisballe has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles.
Starting in 2011, they worked as a Startup Advisor and Project Manager for Københavns Kommune, where they played a role in designing and implementing the "Copenhagen strategy for Social Economy 2012-2015." Thomas was involved in policy development, stakeholder management, business development, and startup incubation.
In 2017, Thomas became the Owner of The Pioneer Gap, a role that they currently hold. Thomas also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Refugee Entrepreneurs Denmark from September 2017 to September 2018.
Thomas cofounded Impactr in 2019, an app that promotes societal action through short videos and connects users with sustainable brands. Thomas served as a Cofounder until October 2021.
From 2020 to December 2022, Thomas worked as the Chapter Lead Copenhagen for Zebras Unite, a movement that supports businesses aiming to create positive social impact.
In 2017, Thomas became an Investor and Head of Business Development for WARM [World Airplay Radio Monitor]. Thomas played a key role in the development of this music tech start-up, focusing on business strategy, user acquisition, partnerships, and fundraising.
In 2021, Thomas cofounded Pozzle Planet, a company that created POZZ, a social app enabling users to join activities that make a positive impact on the planet. Thomas was involved in the creation of this "impact-2-earn" social app until January 2023.
Thomas was a Member of the Board of Advisors for BUG AMOK from October 2017 to August 2021. Thomas also partnered with Abnorm IVS in 2018, where they explored the dynamics of venture capital fund structures for impact startups.
Before their various ventures, Thomas worked with Boom Clap Bachelors, a music collective from Copenhagen, as a Producer & Songwriter from September 2006 to present. Thomas Bisballe attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2017, where they completed the Oxford Impact Investment Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from Roskilde University from 2002 to 2005. Thomas also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the same university, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained several certifications, including "Founders of Tomorrow" from DareDisrupt in March 2019, "Oxford Impact Investment Program" from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in March 2017, and "GrowthWheel Advisor" from GrowthWheel International Inc. in October 2015.
