Samuel Verdugo

Samuel Verdugo, PE, currently serves as the Director of Design Services at Warmboard Inc. since October 2025. Prior to this role, Samuel worked at TerraPower LLC as a Senior Fuel Handling Systems Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading innovative design efforts for the Ex-Vessel Special Handling Equipment in the Natrium Demonstration Plant. Previous experience includes positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Zeta USA, Inc., where custom piping systems for pharmaceutical plants were developed, and as a Mechanical Design Technical Sponsor at Holtec International, overseeing equipment designs from conception to production for nuclear applications. Additionally, Samuel worked at Inductotherm Corporation as a Mechanical Engineer and Field Engineer, focusing on cooling equipment design and on-site technical support. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, awarded in 2013.
