Alexa Verveer

Alexa Verveer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in government affairs and public policy. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Government Affairs & Public Policy at Warner Bros. Discovery since May 2022, Alexa oversees comprehensive government relations and lobbying initiatives. Prior to this role, Alexa spent 20 years at Discovery Inc., where responsibilities included establishing the government affairs function, overseeing corporate social responsibility initiatives, and managing public policy strategies. Alexa's earlier legal career at the U.S. Department of Justice involved various senior positions, including Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Associate Attorney General. Alexa holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
