Amy Girdwood

Amy Girdwood serves as the Executive Vice President of People & Culture at Warner Bros. Discovery since April 2022, overseeing the People & Culture Strategy for the International and Streaming divisions. Prior to this role, Girdwood spent nearly three decades at Discovery Communications LLC, where responsibilities included leading the global HR Generalist population and managing the Staffing & Employment Function as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Girdwood also held various positions, including Vice President of International HR and HR Manager, during their tenure. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Administrator at the London Academy of Performing Arts. Girdwood earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Sciences from The University of Manchester between 1988 and 1991.
