Anil Jhingan

Anil Jhingan is President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Discovery, Inc. He leads all of Discovery’s businesses across a portfolio that today spans twelve office hubs within the region covering 45 markets, 25 channel brands in 18 languages, as well as the leading streaming service, discovery+. Jhingan has more than two decades of international media experience, with involvement spanning both traditional TV and digital, pay TV and free-to-air, content as well as distribution and multiple business verticals.

Jhingan joined Discovery in 2019 as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, with responsibility for leading strategic growth and expansion opportunities across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Prior to Discovery, Jhingan served as Group Director of M&A and International Development for Sky plc, and previously held senior executive positions at Sky plc, 21st Century Fox and News Corporation in Europe and Asia. Jhingan began his career in legal roles at DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells, and earned his law degree at University College London. He currently sits on the boards of electric racing championship Formula E and the LTA, the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain.
