John Beohm

John Beohm possesses extensive experience in content management and programming across various media organizations. From December 2014 to February 2016, John served as Senior Manager, Programming and Editorial at Stan. Subsequently, John was a key figure at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia from November 2016 to January 2021, holding positions as Channel Manager for both SBS VICELAND and SBS 2. John continued to advance in the industry as Head of Content and later Director of Content at BINGE from January 2021 to March 2022. In a significant role at BBC Worldwide from January 2012 to December 2013, John managed programming for segments including BBC iPlayer and BBC Knowledge across Australia and New Zealand. Currently, John is the Senior Director of Content for HBO Max Australia & New Zealand at Warner Bros. Discovery since March 2025. John's academic background includes a Master's degree in Screen Arts and Business and a Graduate Diploma in Producing from the Australian Film Television and Radio School, complemented by a degree in Communications from the University of Canberra.
