Piera Alvarez

Piera Alvarez has extensive work experience in the music industry. Piera began their career in 2002 as a Data Entry Clerk at Forty-Niner Shops, Inc. Piera later worked as an On-Air Host at KBeach Radio and held roles as a Morning Show Assistant Producer and Board Operator at 88.1 KKJZ FM. In 2008, they worked as an Administrator and Publishing Researcher at Warner Music Group. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Rights and Clearance Researcher at Warner Bros. Piera then joined Warner Chappell Music in 2010, where they held various roles including Royalties Entry Specialist, Income Tracking and Mechanicals Licensing Co-ordinator, and Administrator, Mechanical Licensing and Income Tracking. From 2016 to 2017, Piera worked as a Music Publishing Administrator at Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, LLC. Piera then returned to Warner Chappell Music in 2017, where they currently work as a Director of Legal & Business Affairs and Contract Administration.

Piera Alvarez attended California State University-Long Beach from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on finance, marketing, and creative writing.
