Michael Whittaker

Michael Whittaker is an experienced Application Engineer currently employed at DTS (UK) Ltd since March 2024. Previously, Michael held roles as Machine Shop Group Leader and Manufacturing Engineer at Altra Industrial Motion from March 2019 to February 2024, and served as an Application Engineer at TW Ward CNC from May 2011 to December 2018. Earlier experience includes CNC Programmer positions at Truflo Marine Ltd, Regal Precision Engineering, Fort Vale Engineering, Clipsal Electrical Products, and CMG Electric Motors, as well as an engineering apprenticeship at Rolls Royce plc. Michael possesses a strong background in CNC programming, machine operation, and engineering manufacturing processes, with proficiency in various machining technologies and software such as SolidWorks and SolidCam. Michael is also certified in First Aid at Work and fire safety.
