Christopher M. LeClair

Christopher LeClair focuses his practice mainly on immigration law, along with general litigation. He assists clients in completing applications for both immigrant and non-immigrant visas across a range of industries, including health care and higher education. He has also helped clients navigate immigration concerns arising from the COVID-19 pandemic by providing up-to-date guidance and strategies on visa and travel restrictions and exemptions.

Christopher excels at researching often complex immigration issues and then translating that research into persuasive and winning arguments. For example, he recently submitted a package arguing that his client actually did not actually need a license as proof to support an HB1 visa, which the government ultimately conceded.

Before joining Warner, Christopher was a member of his law school’s Family Justice Litigation Clinic where he assisted low-income District of Columbia residents access the court system, most notably walking a client through every stage of the litigation process in a child custody dispute.
