Erin Lasenby

Associate at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP

Erin Lasenby is a trusts and estates attorney who focuses on tax strategy and planning for individuals, families, family businesses and family offices. Additionally, she has experience in working with financial institutions, tax equity investors and lenders in transactions involving the use of investment tax credits.

Erin is highly organized, detail-oriented and simply enjoys crunching numbers. However, her accounting methods incorporate uniquely tailored solutions that rely upon creative and critical thinking backed by legal doctrine – providing clients with a clear roadmap to achieve their financial goals.

Drawing upon her interpersonal skills when working with families and individuals, Erin brings sensitivity and trust to every interaction. She understands that her role as a trusted advisor places her with great responsibility – something she doesn’t take lightly.

Prior to joining Warner, Erin practiced as a tax and transactions associate at a large law firm in its Washington, D.C. and Detroit offices.

Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting, with honor, and a Master of Science in taxation accounting from Michigan State University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and was a staff member of The Tax Lawyer, a member of the Black Law Students Association and was awarded the Brown National Tax Law Scholarship.
