For almost three decades, Loren Andrulis has assisted clients in transactions and strategic planning, primarily in the venture, corporate, securities and real estate arenas. He serves a wide range of Michigan-based and out-of-state clients, including several mining companies that he advises in transactional matters.
Over the years Loren has advised on many deals, including mergers and acquisitions, rollups and business sales. He frequently acts as general counsel for closely held businesses in formations, restructurings, joint ventures, acquisitions and sales. Loren particularly enjoys transactions that involve a passionate stakeholder, such as a company owner, because they’re looking to preserve their legacies by ensuring that their businesses are placed into good hands to continue on.
With his keen intellect and wide-ranging expertise in a variety of subjects, including limited liability companies, Loren serves as point person for many of the firm’s clients. He’s often chosen for internal leadership positions and currently serves in another term on the firm’s elected management committee.
Loren frequently teaches seminars and previously lectured at Michigan State University College of Law and Grand Valley State University Master of Taxation Program. He appreciates the intellectual challenge of teaching and the motivation it provides to sharpen and expand his own skills and knowledge, which ultimately benefits clients.
