Dawn Baird

Dawn Baird has over 30 years of work experience, beginning in 1987 at Anthem as Staff Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, they partnered with the individual, small and large group business segment executive leadership team to define strategies and translate them into targeted business objectives, initiatives and processes. Dawn also served as chief of staff for the business segment’s senior vice president and leadership team.

In 2016, Baird began working at Warner Pacific Insurance Services as Vice President of Strategy and Integration. In this role, they collaborated with the leadership team on core strategy development and implementation, managed projects, and integrated Warner Pacific’s newly acquired companies. Dawn then moved into the role of Vice President of Strategy and Communications, where they led companywide strategic planning efforts, planned and implemented marketing campaigns, and oversaw internal communications. Finally, they held the position of Senior Director of Operations & Strategic Planning, leading cross-functional business improvement teams, managing operations teams, and ensuring strategic projects and initiatives were implemented within the timeframe and budgets established by the executive leadership team.

Dawn Baird has attended various educational institutions, including Indiana University - Kelley School of Business for an Executive Program, LeaderPoint for WellPoint Executive Experience, Moorpark College Business Administration for Business Administration, and University of Phoenix for Business Administration. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Anthem Coaching Programs for 360 Feedback, IMA Worldwide for Accelerating Implementation Methodology Accreditation, Price Pritchett for High Velocity Culture Change Certification, Anthem Coaching Programs for Professional Leadership Coaching, and Changeable for Speed and Flexibility Accreditation.
