Jean Halsell has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades, beginning with their role as Chief Master Sergeant, Medical Service Specialist, 146th Medical Squadron for the California Air National Guard, United States Air Force in 1998. Jean then joined WellPoint in 2000, where they held various Human Resources Business Partner roles, including International Team, Medicare Business Unit and Exchange Team, as well as Human Resources Director for the Individual Business Unit. In 2017, they became Executive Director Human Resources at Gold Coast Health Plan and in 2019, they assumed the role of Vice President Human Resources at Warner Pacific Insurance Services, where they are currently responsible for overseeing the human resources department, leading and developing initiatives related to safety, security and facilities, and directing environmental, social and governance efforts.
Jean Halsell holds a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of La Verne.
