John Dillon's work experience begins in 1996 at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where they worked as an Investment Banker. Their role involved evaluating opportunities to invest the company's capital in the debt of distressed businesses and structuring debt financings for investment banking clients.
In 1999, they moved on to Ares Management, where they worked as a Private Equity Investor for two years.
In 2003, John joined Cendant as the Director of Corporate Strategy, focusing on establishing the company's online travel business in the UK and Asia Pacific region. John completed acquisitions in Australia, China, and the UK, and formed a joint venture in China.
From 2006 to 2010, John Dillon founded WeddingBook, Inc.
In 2011, they joined Mercer as a Partner in Corporate Strategy, leading strategic initiatives across each of Mercer's lines of business and regions. John was later promoted to Operations & Development Leader, Retirement and Health & Benefits, and then served as the CFO of Global Business Solutions. In this role, they oversaw global clients and operations, set strategy, and led investment decisions for Mercer's health, wealth, and career businesses.
In 2020, John became the Chief Financial Officer of Factor, formerly known as Axiom Managed Solutions. Factor is a leader in next-generation solutions for complex legal work at scale, bridging the gap between traditional law and smart legal technology.
Finally, in 2023, they joined Warner Pacific Insurance Services as their Chief Financial Officer.
John Dillon has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School. John also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and History from Duke University.
