Addie Tateishi has held various roles in the music industry throughout their career. Addie began in 2014 at Capitol Records as a Manager, overseeing UMG's label process initiative and launching the digital platform Studio Hub. Addie also managed budgets and ensured proper metadata for projects. In 2019, they transitioned to Universal Music Group as a Manager, focusing on process innovation and efficiency. Addie championed technological advancements, conducted user research, and designed improved processes. In 2021, they returned to Capitol Records as a Director, leading production and business operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Currently, they work at Warner Records as the Director of Operations and Revenue Assurance, where they identify areas for improvement, proposes efficient solutions, and monitors key performance indicators.
Addie Tateishi began their education at American River College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Commercial Music: Business. Addie later completed another Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Commercial Music: Recording at the same institution. After their time at American River College, they attended Belmont University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Music Business. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended The University of Kansas, where they earned a Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Business in 2019 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Management and Leadership in 2020.
