Thomas Hale

Associate Principal at Warren and Mahoney

Thomas joined Warren and Mahoney as an Associate Principal in their Sydney studio and as the firm's Group Urban Design Leader. Offering deep expertise in urban design, masterplanning and place-making, his skills are of value, particularly in project origination, strategy, and planning.

With two decades of urban design experience, Thomas joined Warren and Mahoney following a five-year stint at Hassell and has prior experience leading the Sydney Urban Design discipline at Woods Bagot. He has also worked with Angelo Candalepas & Associates, spent time in the UK with Zaha Hadid Architects, and was the Founding Director of the Urban Land Institute's – Urban Innovations Competition. He remains on the Board of the Urban Land Institute Sydney District Council.

Thomas brings a deep understanding of New South Wales' planning and development frameworks and strong connections to the local market, providing the exciting potential to assist clients with integrated, complex and city-shaping projects of scale.
