Dr. Courtney Bennett has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Dr. Courtney started their career in 1999 as an Instructor at Tennessee Technological University, where they played a crucial role in educating teachers on the use of technology in the classroom. From 2015 to 2020, Dr. Bennett served as the Director of the WCHS Virtual Instruction Program at Warren County TN School District. Their responsibilities included overseeing the virtual learning program at the high school level. Currently, they are the Director of Virtual Learning at Warren County TN School District, a position they have held since 2021.
Dr. Courtney Bennett completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching/ Physical Education from Tennessee Technological University in 1998. Dr. Courtney then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the same university in 2000. In 2002, they completed their Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Tennessee Technological University. Finally, in 2016, Dr. Bennett obtained their Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Carson-Newman University.
