Yared Negash

Yared Negash is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management and accounting operations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at the Warrior-Scholar Project since October 2021, Yared previously held the same title at the District Alliance for Safe Housing from May 2020 to October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Controller at the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and various managerial positions at ICMA-RC, where responsibilities included overseeing investment reporting and compliance for significant fund portfolios. Additionally, Yared was the owner of Fairfax Livery and has held management positions at Acxiom | Digital Impact and Thomson Reuters. Academic credentials include an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a BS in Business Administration from Washington Adventist University.
