Anders Ahnger

Anders Ahnger is currently the Sales Director at Wärtsilä, where they oversee sales in Western Europe and engage in promotional and lobbying work related to EU Energy Policy. They have extensive knowledge of the European Energy sector, encompassing fuels, power production, and natural gas infrastructure. Previously, Anders held positions as General Manager for Combined Heat & Power applications and as Vice President of Customer Support Operations at Wärtsilä, managing complex projects and global customer support initiatives. They served as President of Wärtsilä Compression Systems GmbH in Germany in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and are an active board member of Cogen Europe and Suomen Kaasuyhdistys. Anders holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Energy from Åbo Akademi University.
