Geir Ove Sele

Geir Ove Sele is an experienced professional with a robust background in human resources, project management, and financial control. Currently serving as the Head of People Services for North & East Europe at Wärtsilä since July 2020, Geir Ove has held various senior HR roles within the company, including Regional Director of HR Local Operations and HR Director for Eastern Europe & Nordics. Previous experience includes managing director roles at Wärtsilä Valmarine and a series of positions at Aker Kvaerner, where responsibilities encompassed project control and organizational change management. Geir Ove began their career at Aker Elektro as an HR Consultant and has a solid educational foundation with degrees from BI Norwegian Business School in Project Management and Management.
