Grant Gassner

Grant Gassner is an experienced professional in the marine power industry, currently serving as the Director of Integrated Systems and Solutions at Wärtsilä since July 2020. In addition, Grant is a Board Member for Wärtsilä Qiyao Diesel Company Ltd. since February 2021, after previously holding the position of Managing Director at the joint venture between Wärtsilä and CSSC from May 2018 to July 2020. Grant began a long tenure at Wärtsilä in 2008, during which roles included Product Director for Small Bore Engines and General Manager of Portfolio Planning, among others. Grant's extensive experience encompasses product and portfolio management, strategic planning, and value engineering. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, earned from 1998 to 2003.
