Heather Hennekes

Heather Hennekes, MBA, CCP, GRP currently serves as the Head of HR for the Americas Region at Wärtsilä, starting in August 2023, where responsibilities include driving the Global People Strategy and enhancing the employee experience across various HR functions. Prior experience includes a decade at Vitamix, where Heather held the role of Head of Human Resources and previously as Director of Global Compensation and Benefits, shaping global HR strategies. Additional roles span consulting as Principal at Crescent Horizons, LLC, and significant leadership positions at Nokia, where Heather managed global benefits, equity programs, and executive compensation across multiple international locations. Early career experience includes positions at Texas Instruments, Jon Pierce, Inc., and Control Data Corporation. Heather Hennekes holds an MBA in Human Resources from The University of Dallas, a Graduate Marketing Certificate from Southern Methodist University, and a BBA in Finance from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business.
