Jakub Kania

Jakub Kania is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in hydraulic systems engineering, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as an Expert Mechanical Engineer at Wärtsilä since May 2021, Jakub previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Rockfin Sp. z o.o. from November 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included writing technical specifications, evaluating offers, and selecting hydraulic system components. From January 2012 to January 2016, Jakub worked as an Approval Engineer at DNV GL - Maritime, focusing on the design approval of pressure equipment and providing mechanical advisory services. Jakub holds an Engineer's degree in Ocean Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology, obtained in 2012.
